Rock City (Planet 6) on The Style and Beats TV Show

Duo Rock City, protégé of Superstar Akon, appears on The Style and Beats TV Show premiering May 1st, 2012.

The Style&Beats TV Show is based around a competition between “Team Style” (models) and “Team Beats” (producers, singers, rappers, dancers and DJ’s) who all compete through online voting to appear on the TV show, win prizes (team style win clothes and team beats win audio electronics), have a final performance aired on the TV show, get picked to be a part of an editorial fashion shoot and appear in an issue of USL Magazine.

The voting process begins and run within a 30-day voting timeframe (running concurrently every 30 days) from facebook.com, twitter.com, modelmayhem.com, etc., where participants submit their photos for consideration. Following photo submission, chosen participants, having gone through the talent verification process, are added to the TV show’s voting webpage where they must get people to vote for them. Within 7 days after the voting process commence, participants on both teams with the highest votes for that week get to appear on the TV show either by way of studio taping, a reality-like interview or both. Twenty days into the competition, the TV show producer(s) will do a series of reality-like interviews of the participants with the highest votes and air them on the weekly TV show. Once the 30-day voting process is over and all votes are tabulated, a winner from each team will be chosen to appear on the TV show as winners of the competition, receive their respective prizes, and finally get to be a part of an editorial fashion shoot sponsored by USLMag.com, perform of the TV show and appear in an upcoming issue of USL Magazine. All submissions that do not make it through the talent verification process will receive an official Style&Beats T-shirt.
