J Kap FEAT Alec Roeser was chosen to be apart of the UM Choice List because of their latest single “Hole In My Pocket.” “Hole In My Pocket” has a very simple instrumentation, amazing arrangements with kid like lyrics that poke fun at real life struggles. However, metaphorically, it represents a finely tuned composition with its mixture of hip-hop feel, pop melodies and avant garde gestures.
