Definitive dance music icon Darude returns with riotous new anthem ‘Outlaws,’ his first single in over three years. Calling on House Body and vocalist Oskr, ‘Outlaws’ is the debut release to land on Darude’s freshly launched Vibing Out imprint.

One for unruly ravers, ‘Outlaws’ is an unorthodox fusion of electronic and uplifting sonics. A twanging guitar riff accompanied by the raspy tones of vocal powerhouse Oskr conjures raw, rebellious energy. With a raw dance-driven build, ‘Outlaws’ tantalizingly takes off into dynamic synth stabs echoed by ringing sirens that signal party-fueled mayhem.

Darude is a name that needs no introduction. Turn of the century hit ‘Sandstorm’ became a global trance emblem smashing over 600 million worldwide streams and hailed as ‘one of the most iconic dance tracks of all time.’ Further chart-topping success would prevail in singles such as ‘Music’ and ‘Next to You’ taken from the 3x Finnish Grammy Award winners first of four exemplary studio albums. Tomorrowland, Parookaville, and Dreamstate SoCal are just a few of the world-class line-ups Darude has donned. In 2019 the DJ/producer had the honour of representing his homeland Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest, the biggest live music event on the planet.

A supreme example of the homegrown talents currently emerging from Finland’s music scene, collaborator Oskr is a multi-faceted singer, songwriter, and producer. Still in the dawn of his musical career, Oskr has already secured signings with the likes of Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and scored over 1 million Spotify streams on his 2021 debut single ‘Lie’.

Darude Outlaws Single House Body Oskr 1 1

With over 25 years in the game, House Body completes the ‘Outlaws’ trio. The Finnish producer, DJ, songwriter and visual artist, channels inspiration from a concoction of old-school house, techno, and garage influences into his extensive catalogue of work, with the occasional nod to hip-hop and dancehall. House Body has co-production/writing credits with the likes of collaborator Darude, Nervo, Felix Jaehne, and Backstreet Boys, and is ever driven to create music for the mind, body, and soul.

Not only is Darude kicking off 2023 with new music, but the Finnish megastar will also embark on his latest creative venture with the launch of his audio and visual record label Vibing Out. Born of Darude’s weekly #VibingOut live-stream party hosted on Twitch, the label aims to showcase the same community-driven ethos, embracing new technologies and offering a platform to fresh electronic talents.

‘Luv Songs (Unruly)’

Checkout ‘Casamigos’ from the highly anticipated album…

Phabo is fully immersed in a renewed sense of self-assurance, ambition, and purpose as he gears up for his upcoming new full-length LP. He delivers the effortlessly smooth and timely slow jam “Casamigos” available to stream now on all digital platforms via The Orchard.

Written by PHABO and co-produced by GRAMMY Award-winning hitmaker Eric Hudson (Whitney Houston, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey) with Phillip C. Lewis (Mary J. Blige, H.E.R., Doja Cat) and Ezzra (John Legend, Ant Clemons, Keyshia Cole), “Casamigos” marks another standout ballad from the naturally gifted multi-dimensional artist at his most comfortable. The track follows on from his latest offerings this year including the official studio version of “Scorpio Moon” – first premiered on COLORS – and the sun-soaked “Out of Touch” featuring UK R&B artist Shaé Universe

Speaking on the inspiration behind his new single, PHABO shares, “When I wrote ‘Casamigos’, it was a song meant to embody the emotion of a bitter-sweet companionship. Losing something you’re not sure is worth chasing. Then taking on this false sense of control once reacquired, knowing that time and experiences have transpired between both you and your old flame. ‘Casamigos’ is every bad decision’s accountability partner.

PHABO continues to stake his claim as one of today’s most sought after collaborators in contemporary R&B and already in 2023 he’s collaborated with fast rising artists Jordan Hawkins (“Timeless”), Amaria (“Damaged”), Zay Johnny (“Poed Up”), and Modha (“Lions & Cowards”). He’s also established himself as a driving force in the songwriting scene having penned hits for the likes of Kehlani, Kyle Dion, and Jahkoy.

Hailed as an “indie luminary” and “R&B’s new North Star” (Noisey/Vice), singer-songwriter PHABO is modernizing the best parts of what we know as R&B. In July 2021, the Los Angeles-based artist issued his debut album, Soulquarius, via the influential radio show and indie record label Soulection Records known for their work championing and ushering in the new generation of R&B talent.

Laced with notable guest appearances from Alex Vaughn, Destin Conrad, Rexx Life Raj and Mntra set against inimitable production work by LosHendrix (SZA, Giveon, Childish Gambino) and Louie Lastic (Goldlink, Masego, Kali Uchis), Phabo bares his soul on Soulquarius as he sings of love, lust, musings, heartbreak, and passion. The record is an intoxicating experience that captures a West Coast ethos harking back to the pioneers of classic soul and R&B from artists like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Jahiem drawing influences from the rotating collective of experimental Black music artists in the late 90’s and early 00’s while also incorporating sounds from contemporary R&B. In support of the record, PHABO embarked on his first ever 15-date headline tour, which was supported by LAYA and sold out shows in key markets including DC, Toronto, New York City, Atlanta, LA and London.
